Quilt Design 101 Workshop in Victoria!

posted Feb 6, 2018, 7:50 PM by Lorna Shapiro
Hi everyone!

I've just finished a great couple of days with 15 ladies from the BBQG taking my Quilt Design 101 workshop and am looking forward to spending a couple of days doing quilt design with a bunch of Vancouver Island quilters. The range of designs that the Boundary Bay women came up with was remarkable, and we all bumped our quilt design skills up a notch! And now...

Space in my Quilt Design 101 Class with the Victoria Modern Quilt Guild

I’m going to be teaching a two day, introductory quilt design class, for the Victoria Modern Quilt Guild on Saturday February 17 and Saturday March 24. This is such a fun and satisfying workshop no matter what your experience level with quilt design and no matter what your design aesthetic. You will come away from these two days with:

· new knowledge about design principles,

· new piecing techniques so that you can incorporate different kinds of shapes in your quilts,

· new experience with the design process,

· new confidence in your ability to create your own designs, and

· new friends!.

And did I mention you will also have your own new quilt designed and construction started? I’d love to have you join this class if you are interested. Please contact Heather Beierneister (heatherbeiermeister@me.com) for information about the cost and registration. The class is held in Victoria and I hope you can join in the fun we will have. It's way more fun with a full class of 15!
