Custom Pathways Kits in Throw, Queen and King sizes

posted April 17, 2024 6:00 PM by Lorna Shapiro

I've managed to collect a set of fabrics that will work perfectly for my Pathways quilt pattern - a set for the blue-grey version and a set for the red-black option. These kits are now orderable as custom kits and are made to order in the size you need: throw, queen or king. The blue grey set is shown above and the red-black set is as shown here. The throw quilts are shown below...

To celebrate, I'm extending my "One-week only sale on kits -- April 6 to 13th" to the end of April:

For the remainder of this month, all my kits including these new custom offerings will be on sale 20% off. There are lots of beautiful projects for you to consider. They include fabric for the top and binding along with the pattern. Optionally you can add backing fabric and also get 20% off that at the same time. Here are some new photos of the available kits:

I'm looking for pattern testers for one more quilt.

I've just completed the patterns for King and Queen sized versions of TriangulR. This was what the throw version looked like:

The layouts for the King and Queen look like this:

If you are interested in having this pattern at no cost and giving me feedback on your experience with it, send me an email at lorna.shapiro@gmail.com.

I did something fun for our kitchen windows:

I've long wanted to try bodaji, a Korean fabric art technique that uses flat felled seams to give a stained glass look to pieced fabric. And now that I have, I love the way the AGF solids shine in the sun and provide just enough of a privacy shield on our kitchen window.

Finally, check out this combination we put together to play with the new Zen Chic fabric that arrived this month. Doesn't it just make you smile?! That is one of the most fun parts of my wee business... putting together interesting fabric combinations.

If you'd like to come by and shop in person for kits, or anything else, don't hesitate to book your visit. You can do so here:

Sending you all my best wishes for a spring that brings joy into your heart. Thanks for being part of my quilting community...

Lorna
