This piece was inspired by my appreciation and joy when I stumbled upon the Bauhaus school of design. For some reason, it pleased me to realize that over 100 years ago there were artists who, like me, found pleasure in the geometric shape. Those artists explored the power of geometric shapes to make stunningly effective designs. This original design of mine is an homage to their pioneering exploration of design.
 
This contemporary art piece can augment your decor in a variety of ways: as a statement wall piece, as a throw for your couch, as a bed-runner. The quilt is a one-of-a-kind design, and is hand-crafted using premium cottons and linens. The batting is silk, resulting in a piece that hangs flat and straight on a wall or, when used as a throw, offers the drape and excellent thermal properties of silk. It will keep you warm, but is breathable, and it drapes beautifully.
 
The piece is 58" x 72" and can come either with or without a hanging sleeve through which a rod can be slipped for wall mounting. It is machine-washable and can be machine dried on warm setting. Iron if mounting on a wall.
