Leslie Tucker Jenison does design fabulous fabrics for Robert Kaufman! This quilt was inspired by, and uses, her Warehouse District fabric line. Starting with this fabric, I sought to create the edgy feel of a warehouse district in the contrasting colours and shapes that I chose for this design. The resulting quilt has a mid-century vibe that is both fun and unusual. You can make this quilt with your own favourite fabrics.

I recommend a variety of textured fabrics, some cotton and some cotton-linen for the background. These textures further support the overall industrial theme of this design. Irregular quilting can further support the industrial look and feel.

This project is suitable for both beginners and more experienced quilters. The quarter-circle piecing is well-described in the pattern and my website has a link to my YouTube video demonstrating the sewing of a quarter-circle.

Because the template used for the quarter circles won't print on a regular printer, this pattern needs to be shipped.

The quilt finishes at 55" x 72".
