was inspired by the traditional Zen gardens of Japan and the famous Japanese taupe fabrics when I designed this original quilt pattern.

The finished quilt invokes the same sense of serenity that is created by those rock and sand gardens found in Zen Buddhist temples. This quilt looks spectacular spread across the top of a queen bed, and is equally at home being used as a throw on a cool winter evening.

The simplicity of the design creates a quilt that will enhance the decor of any room. It has a contemporary, sophisticated feel, and yet the pattern is approachable by even the most novice quilter. The quilt finishes at 60" x 72".
