Fabric off the bolt at my cost... now available online.

Hi to all my customers who shop from a distance.

My in-studio closing sale days are over; the inventory is updated, and fabric off the bolt is now available online at a cost of $10/yard for regular width fabrics. Purchases of fabric off the bolt require a minimum cut of each fabric of 2 half-yards. There are still some beautiful bundles and quilt kits, also at cost, available online.

Here's a photo of a quilt top made by Laura G., using fabric bundle C24 from the Kate and Claudia collection. She based her quilt on the pattern Spotted Geese by Zen Chic. It's a great example of how these fabric bundles can be used as the foundation of a beautiful quilt.

Laura went to her stash and added a small number of coordinating fabrics to serve as background blocks rather than using a single background fabric.

I also learned something new from Laura as we talked about how she made this quilt. She demands precision in making her flying geese blocks and so researched the web to find what she thought was the method that allowed her to best achieve that precision. She ended up using Eleanor Burns' method of making flying geese, one I've never tried but I can tell you I'm going to try it after seeing Laura's work. Here's one link to a tutorial on the technique: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEfC5va_Bn4

Speaking of coordinating fabrics, such as the ones Laura used as an assorted background in her quilt, I've now added what I have in stock of:

All of these are at the same closing out price of $10/yard.

A reminder, my website will close at the end of February 2026. My Etsy business will continue selling my patterns for the time being.

Several of my patterns have been designed to use a 7 half-yard bundle plus background fabric. Here are some photos of some of those quilts:

OK... that's it for now. I wish you all good health, good friends, much laughter and even more kindness!

Sending my best wishes to you all. Thanks for being part of my quilting community...
