It's finally here. Closing date for my website has been set at March 12, 2026. There are still some lovely fabrics available, and a few remaining bundles for those of you who truly are pressure-prompted procrastinators!
I made a baby quilt to celebrate having nothing to do :)
I was inspired by Laura's take on the Zen Chic flying geese pattern and I had a baby quilt request from my daughter for a colleague's first baby. Baby quilts are so much fun to make... they are small and all errors are easily forgiven. Here's what I made.
I was practicing a new FMQ design and by the end of the quilting the quilt, I think I finally had it mastered. I believe, however, that the mother and babe will not notice all the imperfections in my work.

So this is my final hurrah. I'd like to say hurrah for all of you who are creating joy for yourselves and others by your creative work with textiles. I am enormously grateful for all the positive energy, knowledge, creative ideas and love that you have shared with me over the past 18 years. I wish all of you many more years of joy in the pursuit of beauty.
